4th Annual Ken Stitt Memorial Aerotow

We are excited to share the news about the upcoming 4th annual Ken Stitt Memorial Aerotow at Clearview Field in Milton, Kansas. This event holds special significance as it not only marks the 17th annual aerotow at Clearview Field but also the second one dedicated to honoring the memory of Ken Stitt. However, it saddens us to inform you that this may be the final aerotow held at this venue. We sincerely hope that everyone can come and be a part of this special occasion. The event will take place from September 34th to 27th, 2026, and is an AMA sanctioned event, meaning that remote ID is not required. Let us all gather to celebrate the legacy of Ken Stitt and enjoy the thrilling aerotow experience.

  • Aerotow dates: 24-27 September 2026

  • Flying starts at 10 until everyone it tired! We'll have a pilot briefing before flying starts on 24 September

  • The landing fee for the event is $50 or $15 per day (Tow pilots aren't required to pay the landing fee).

  • Multiple towplanes will be available

  • Self-launch sailplanes welcome! The only restriction is no self-launch take off while the tow planes are operating

  • All aircraft types are welcome to fly during lunch breaks and after the towing activity is finished for the day

  • Our flying field is FRIA approved, so remote ID is NOT required (YAY!)

  • AMA membership IS required

  • RV parking and camping is allowed on-site

  • We'll have at least one sailplane available for non-sailplane pilots to fly! (Must be an AMA member)

  • This event IS AMA sanctioned

  • Lunch will be provided daily (we kindly ask for a small donation to cover the cost of the food and supplies)
